Now in our fifteenth year, Brazen Tails is a small company with a family atmosphere, a fixture in the Baltimore pet-care community, and a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. We are insured and bonded, and all of our walkers are pet first aid and CPR certified. Our animal-loving staff includes:

Erin Proctor, Owner & Operator

After getting my degree in Anthropology at Towson University, I worked on refugee issues in Washington D.C. and Baltimore City. But adopting my dog, Frankie, from Recycled Love 18 years ago inspired me to turn that same spirit of caring toward a cause closer to home: caring for animals.

Annie Sullivan, Walker

Annie has been with Brazen Tails since 2010. She has long experience in caring for animals, is skilled in caring for diabetic pets, and has a special fondness for elder pets – she and her husband Don have adopted several senior dogs. Annie has a BA in Fine Arts from Clark University, and her Brazen Tails friends often find their way into her paintings, prints and handmade books. The new Brazen Tails logo is her design.

Ali Dryer, Walker

Ali Dryer is a longtime dog owner, first time dog walker. She has a BA in literature and so has spent the last twenty+ years in restaurants, most recently pre-pandemic behind the bar at Hersh’s. She’s looking forward to getting to know her new friends (aka YOUR dogs) and spending all sorts of quality outdoor time with them. Her dog, Rosco, is already getting acquainted with how they smell!
